New Business Presentation of the County of Hawaii Mass <br />continued... Transit Agency Administrator Maria "Sole" <br />Aranguiz. <br />Ms. Sole did a power point presentation on the <br />Mass Transit programs and answered a variety of <br />questions from the Committee. <br />Report of the County of Hawaii Equal <br />Opportunity and ADA Officer Julie Rawlins <br />Chair Shirachi read Ms. Julie Rawlins report to <br />the Committee. <br />Report of the County of Hawaii Office of Aging <br />Director Kimo Alameda and the update on the <br />County's Website <br />Chair Shirachi read the report from Hawaii <br />County Office of Aging Director, Kimo Alameda. <br />Report of the County of Hawaii Parks & <br />Recreation Specialist II (Vacant Position) <br />Chair Shirachi informed the Committee that they <br />are going to be posting that position <br />I.Handout of Sub -Committees and Chairs <br />Chair Shirachi handed out information packets to <br />all Committee Members. <br />2.Communication and Outreach - <br />Committee Member Punihaole reported that when <br />doing outreach the Community expresses the <br />same concern, which has to do with <br />transportation. She reached out to both the <br />federation for the blind (West Hawaii Chapter) <br />and to the disabled veterans. Committee member <br />Punihaole also talked about the public's concern <br />for the "push button" at the entrances.
