Tage 2 of 2 Hawai 'i County is an equal opportunity provider and employer. An Area Agency on Aging <br />Committee member Punihaole asked if there are <br />any limitations from the Committee on who I can <br />reach out to? <br />Deputy Corporation Council Malia Hall replied <br />there aren't any specific expectations on who you <br />can reach out to. The Sunshine Law only applies <br />to the Committee and not the public. <br />2.Parking Enforcement <br />Committee member Punihaole mentioned that she <br />went in to the HPD Office and was told when <br />asked about enforcement of the disability placard <br />that it "was to the digression of the officer" and <br />that they are not required to ask for the blue ID <br />card. <br />3.Transporatation <br />Committee member Tabosa said both her and <br />Motion for the Committee to <br />Joshua will be attending a public meeting that <br />write a letter to the Mass Transit <br />Mass Transit is having in Kona and in Hilo. <br />Authority regarding information <br />Committee member Tabosa said that she will <br />about the Share ride program <br />attend the Hilo meeting and Joshua the one in <br />was made by the Committee <br />Kona. She informed the Committee that one of <br />Chair, Seconded by Committee <br />the questions that she will ask is about the Shared <br />Member. All were in favor. <br />Ride taxi program. Currently there are 6 taxis in <br />Hilo but none in Kona. Their subcommittee is <br />wanting to know why this is the case. <br />4.Housing for the Homeless <br />Chair Shirachi mentioned that Lance Niimi is no <br />longer with the County. Chair Shirachi said that <br />she will contact Mr. Hans Santiago who is the <br />Executive Assistant to Mayor Kim and ask if he <br />could speak on the housing for homeless issue. <br />Status of the <br />Chair Shirachi mentioned that Committee <br />Revision to the <br />members Shirachi, Tabosa and Nagasawa have <br />Committee's <br />been working on redrafting the Bylaws.
