c. explain the provisions of the program including <br />equal opportunity requirements, to real estate, <br />landlord, and other groups the members of which <br />have dealings with low-income families or are <br />interested in housing such families. <br />F. FAMILY INCOME <br />1. Annual Income means all amounts, monetary or not, <br />which: <br />a. Go to, or on behalf of, the family head of <br />household or spouse (even if temporary absent) or <br />to any other family members; or <br />b. Are anticipated to be received from a source <br />outside the Family during the twelve (12) month <br />period following admission or annual reexamination <br />effective date; <br />c. Which are not specifically excluded in Item 4 of <br />this Section; and <br />d. Annual Income also means amounts derived (during <br />the twelve (12) month period) from assets to which <br />any member of the Family has access. <br />2. Annual Income Includes; but is not limited to: <br />a. The full amount, before any payroll deductions, of <br />wages and salaries, overtime pay, commissions, <br />fee, tips and bonuses and other compensation for <br />personal services. <br />b. All regular pay, special pay and allowances of the <br />head, spouse, or adult family member of the Armed <br />Forces, whether or not such member is living in <br />the unit. <br />c. The net income from the operation of a business or <br />profession. Expenditures for business expansion <br />or amortization or capital improvements shall not <br />be used as deductions in determining net income. <br />An allowance for depreciation of assets used in a <br />business or profession may be deducted, based on <br />straight line depreciation, as provided in <br />Internal Revenue Service regulations. Any <br />withdrawal of cash or assets from the operation of <br />a business or profession will be included in <br />Rules and Regulations <br />-23- <br />0010ARslh-TBRA <br />11/01/2007 <br /> <br />
