b. The family signs an affidavit at least every three <br />(3) months until the OHCD discontinues this <br />requirement; and <br />c. Families that report zero income will be required <br />to provide information regarding their means of <br />basic subsistence, such as food, utilities, <br />transportation, etc. If the family’s expenses <br />exceed their known income, the OHCD will make <br />inquiry of the head of household as to the nature <br />of the family’s accessible resources. <br />d. The family reports any income it receives and the <br />PHA will determine if such income shall be counted <br />in the family's eligibility for participation; and <br />e. The family shall be disqualified from <br />participation in the program should the OHCD <br />determine that the family has not fulfilled these <br />conditions. <br />G. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA <br />1. Non-Discrimination: It is the policy of the OHCD to <br />comply with all applicable laws relating to Civil <br />Rights, including Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of <br />1964, Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1968 (as <br />amended by the Community Development Act of 1974 and <br />the Fair Housing Amendments Act of 1988), Executive <br />Orders 11063 as amended, 12259 as amended and 12892, <br />Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, the Age <br />Discrimination Act of 1975, Title II of the Americans <br />with Disabilities Act (to the extent that it applies, <br />otherwise Section 504 and the Fair Housing Amendments <br />govern), any applicable state laws or local ordinances <br />and any legislation protecting the individual rights of <br />tenants, applicants or staff that may subsequently be <br />enacted. <br />OHCD shall not discriminate because of race, color, <br />gender, religion, familial status, disability, age, <br />marital status, ancestry, or national origin in the <br />leasing, rental or other disposition of housing or <br />related facilities, including land, that is part of any <br />project or projects under the jurisdiction of OHCD <br />covered by a contract for annual contributions under <br />the United States Housing Act of 1937, as amended, or <br />in the use or occupancy thereof, except as may be <br />Rules and Regulations <br />-31- <br />0010ARslh-TBRA <br />11/01/2007 <br /> <br />
