Hawai`i County Charter Commission -2 August 10, 2018 <br />Vote on Minutes: <br />(Approved) <br />COMMUNI- <br />CATIONS: <br />page 71—let's see. Yes, at the top of the page where the Chair directed the <br />"Council" to proceed to the next order of business, that should be the <br />Commission. And, there may have been one other place in there. So that's right, <br />two on page 70, one on page 71. So both the Referrals for Executive Session and <br />the Reports on page 70, and the Announcements on page 71. All of those should <br />be "Commission" as opposed to "Council." Okay, great. <br />Any other discussion or modifications to the minutes? Seeing none, all in favor <br />of the motion, please say "aye." <br />The motion to approve the minutes of July 13, 2018, as <br />amended, was carried by the following voice vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Bergin, Galimba, Hamann, <br />Roehrig, Saquing, Springer, Zelko-Schlueter, and <br />Chair Adams – 8. <br />Noes: None. <br />Absent: Commissioners Hopkins, Todd, <br />and Rice – 3. <br />Excused: None. <br />CHR. ADAMS: Thank you. I said that all correct right? We are doing good? <br />Alrighty. Next in our Order of Business is Communications. <br />The Chair directed the Commission to proceed to the next order of business, <br />Communications. <br />CHR. ADAMS: We have none that is indicated here on the agenda. This might <br />be the time however, just to make a comment about communications we do <br />receive from, or for the Commission. We do have items that we receive as a <br />Commission from—whether its departments or whether it's public, and those all <br />Commissioners will see. We are replying as a Commission under my signature to <br />all of those communications or correspondence that come to us, primarily by e- <br />mail at the moment. I just want to make sure that the Commission is aware of <br />how we are making that work, okay? Any questions on that? <br />Okay. Next I would move to Unfinished Business. <br />UNFINISHED The Chair directed the Commission to proceed to the next order of business, <br />BUSINESS: Unfinished Business. <br />CHR.
