Civil Defense Agency — Civil Defense Administrator; Talmadge Magno <br />b. Office of the Corporation Counsel — Assistant Corporation Counsel — <br />Renee Schoen <br />c. Department of Information Technology — Director; Jules Ung <br />d. Department of Environmental Management — Director; William Kucharski <br />e. Department of Finance — Director; Deanna Sako <br />f. Hawaii Fire Department Fire Chief; Darren Rosario <br />g. Department of Human Resources — Director; William Brilhante, Jr. <br />h. Office of the County Clerk — County Clerk; Stewart Maeda <br />CHR. ADAMS: In New Business we have our Communication No. 1 which has <br />to do with our departments and agencies, agency heads. We did send a <br />communication to them asking thein to come and provide information for us, an <br />overview of operations, the impact of the County Charter on their operations, and <br />any proposals to amend the Charter, and then discussion with the presenters. <br />CHR. ADAMS: So, if it is okay, we will start with our first agency because I see <br />the Civil Defense Administrator here. Mr. Magno, if you would please come to <br />the table. <br />a. ADAMS: Thank you for being here with us today and we look forward to <br />your presentation and if you would please introduce yourself for the record and <br />then fire away. <br />MR. MAGNO: Good afternoon. I am Talmadge Magno, Civil Defense <br />Administrator. <br />CHR. ADAMS: Thank you. My mistake. I did ask Mr. Henricks to remind me <br />and he failed to do it, so it's all his fault. But, for all of these presentations, we <br />will hold our questions until the end. Even if the presenter says "Ask me at any <br />time". Let's let them get through the presentation and then if we have questions <br />or commentary with them, let's do it at that point.
