Hawaii Game Management Advisory Commission Meeting <br />Minutes – September 24, 2018 <br />TL: \[Not speaking in mice\] <br /> <br />BK: George, what are you studying? <br /> <br />GD: I’m studying computer science and mathematics. <br /> <br />BK: That sounds fun... <br /> <br />GD: I think so... <br /> <br />TL: Some of the activities of the Commission – you mentioned the Watershed <br />Partnership that we have up there – we haven’t always had a cordial <br />relationship with some of those organizations in the past so if you all start <br />feeling uncomfortable about any of the comments that you might here and <br />you will hear them – just let us know – so that we don’t further any – but they <br />have been why these people are here – when you talk about the animals here <br />we care about the animals as well but a big part of the animal kingdom that <br />relates to us here are game animals – animals that have been introduced <br />here for the purposes of subsistence... <br /> <br />GD: Of course... <br /> <br />TL: And without management they do create issues for a lot of people, whether <br />you be at home or in the partnership. So we may have some areas where are <br />interests may diverge but our commission serves everybody on this Island <br />and we’re gonna be talking about that tonight too. <br /> <br />NP: He’s read through all of our minutes and he’s watched our You Tubes so – I <br />think he has a pretty good idea. <br /> <br />GD: Yeah, I think so... <br /> <br />TL: OK. Yeah, very good. You know more about this than we do... OK. Anybody <br />have any question for George? Comments or whatever, no? He has applied for the District 5 <br />commission position and among other things that he’s embarking upon right <br />now so anyway Abraham, thank y ou.
