We have statements from the public. <br />10 And so, here to address us is Robert Becker. <br />11 And, Robert, you're the Chair of the Fire <br />12 Commission? <br />13 MR. BECKER: Yes. <br />14 CHR. ONO: Please. <br />15 MR. BECKER: Good morning, everybody. My <br />16 name is Robert Becker. I'm the Chairman of the Hawaii <br />17 Fire Commission. I was forwarded your agenda for this <br />18 meeting, and on the agenda it requested information <br />19 from the different commissions and bodies that were <br />20 affected by the salary decisions that you make. <br />21 For the Fire Commission, we didn't have any <br />22 specific recommendations as far as, you know, when the <br />23 Salary Commission should consider a salary changes for <br />24 the chief and the deputy chief but I think, you know, <br />25 common sense should prevail here.
