Minutes <br /> Regular Meeting of the Pension Board <br /> February 29, 2016 <br /> County Building, First Floor—Council Room, Hilo, Hawai`i <br /> CALL TO ORDER: The quarterly meeting of the Pension Board was called to order at 1:30 p.m. by <br /> Chair Guillerma"Irma" G. Sumera. <br /> ROLL CALL: <br /> Present: Guillerma"Irma" G. Sumera, Chair <br /> Arlene Waugh, Vice-Chair <br /> Nyala Neill, Member <br /> Stewart Maeda, Ex-Officio Member <br /> Absent& Excused: Deanna Sako, Director, Finance Department <br /> Also Present: Lisa Miura, Deputy Director, Finance Department <br /> Renee Schoen, Deputy Corporation Counsel <br /> Kay Oshiro, Controller <br /> Dee Torres, Secretary, Office of the County Clerk-Council <br /> STATEMENTS FROM THE PUBLIC ON AGENDA ITEMS: (There were none.) <br /> APPROVAL OF MINUTES: November 30, 2015 <br /> Ms. Waugh moved to approve the minutes of November 30, 2015. Seconded by Ms. Neill. <br /> The motion was carried by the following vote: <br /> AYES: Board Members Neill, Waugh, and Chair Sumera—3. <br /> NEW BUSINESS: <br /> 1. Chair Sumera proceeded with the Election of Officers and asked for nominations for Chair and <br /> Vice-Chair for the new term. <br /> Ms. Neill made a motion to nominate Ms. Sumera as Chair of the Pension Board again for the <br /> new term. Seconded by Ms. Waugh. <br /> The motion was carried by the following vote: <br /> AYES: Board Members Neill, Waugh, and Chair Sumera—3. <br />
