Chair Sumera asked for a nomination of Vice-Chair and noted that Ms. Waugh's 90-day extension will end on March 30, 2016. Ms. Waugh made a motion to nominate Ms. Neill as Vice-Chair. Seconded by Chair Sumera. The motion was carried by the following vote: AYES: Board Members Neill, Waugh, and Chair Sumera—3. Chair Sumera moved to close the nominations. Seconded by Ms. Waugh. The proposed slate of officers for the Pension Board is as follows: Irma Sumera, Chair, and Nyala Neill, Vice-Chair. The motion was carried by the following vote: AYES: Board Members Neill, Waugh, and Chair Sumera—3. ANNOUNCEMENTS: Chair Sumera stated that the next quarterly Pension Board meeting will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016, at 1:30 p.m. should there be any new pension applications or other pertinent matters relating to the Pension Board. Ms. Torres will notify all Board Members and staff of the forthcoming agenda or cancellation notice. (Note, that Monday, May 30, 2016 is a holiday) ADJOURNMENT: Ms. Waugh made a motion to adjourn the meeting. Seconded by Ms. Neill.
