Page 20 <br />1 the County issues, we protect the individual's privacy; <br />2 so oftentimes you'll see in a police report just a <br />3 reference to "A 43 -year-old male was injured," you <br />4 know, at such -and -such accident until consent is given <br />5 by the party. And so, that's why there's generalized <br />6 terms used because of those privacy issues. And we <br />7 did the same thing here out of an abundance of caution. <br />8 We didn't have any consent to release either of the <br />9 e-mail addresses. That's the only reason. <br />10 We're not trying to hide anything or cloak <br />11 and daggers. The primary discussion here regarded the <br />12 contents of the e-mail, and I can tell you the "From <br />13 Hugh Ono" was his private email address, and the "To," <br />14 the reason that was redacted was because it was a <br />15 private e-mail address of the requester. <br />16 MS. SELF: And this is available to the <br />17 public, so -- <br />18 MR. BRILHANTE: It is now. <br />19 MS. SELF: -- if anyone from the public was <br />20 here and requested a copy of this, we'd have to turn it <br />21 over. So, that's why it's redacted. <br />22 MR. PAVAO: I would like to add one comment <br />23 based on giving e-mails, County e-mails. I totally agre <br />24 with what Mr. Higgins said earlier.
