So that figure came out to -- for <br />6 department heads and deputies, that's a $5,641 figure, <br />7 and for the deputies it's a $5,359 figure. <br />8 And if you look at the column, the two <br />9 columns on the left is what the current salary is -- <br />10 the non -highlighted columns -- for department heads and <br />11 deputies, mayor, managing director, counsel, going all <br />12 the way down. We have it batched in three groupings. <br />13 And then the highlighted area is always a point of <br />14 contention. <br />15 The first column on the left of the <br />16 highlighted area is the highest-paid subordinate. So <br />17 that's a senior manager in each of the departments that <br />18 are noted department heads or deputies. So that's the <br />19 salaries reflected per each department. <br />20 The next column, the middle column of that <br />21 highlighted area, is the proposed department heads, <br />22 deputy, mayor, and council members, with the flat <br />23 $5,641 raise. <br />24 And then the final column on the right is the <br />25 proposed deputy salary, with a $5,359.
