So, then, you would be <br />3 subject to the proposed amendment to the charter; but <br />4 that means you would have to publish at least once, in <br />5 at least two daily newspapers with general circulation, <br />6 the detailed account of its proposal and the dollar <br />7 amounts and all that, you have to hold at least one <br />8 public hearing in East Hawaii and one in West Hawaii, <br />9 <br />and you'd <br />have <br />to submit a detailed <br />report of <br />your <br />10 <br />findings <br />to the <br />County Clerk -- give <br />notice. <br />Public <br />11 notice is required for... <br />12 But the one thing that I think you were <br />13 concerned about is the last part of it, is any <br />14 adjustment that increases or decreases any salary by <br />15 more than 10 percent shall require affirmative vote of <br />16 two-thirds of the entire membership of the Salary <br />17 Commission, but none of these are an increase of more <br />18 than 10 percent. <br />19 <br />MR.
