Page 9
the morning from 6:00 to 8:00, during rush hour, I
announce it at least two times during my radio
broadcast. And that's not just this particular
meeting, but other meetings also and other PSAs; and
people can bring PSAs, and we read them for free.
So, just to let you know, during my broadcast hour I
will announce the actual meetings. And I'm encountered
by people at the mall or at Starbucks, for example,
that know that this meeting has occurred, and they're
complaining to me, and I'll ask them, "Why didn't you
show up?" And they just didn't want to take the time
to come over here. And I hear what you're saying, the
lack of attendance, but --
MR. SADEGH: I've never listened to the
radio, with due respect, that you're mentioning. What
I'm saying is that Hawaii Tribune Herald gets -- the
public gets to see that. The public gets -- even if
they don't read it, they may -- should see it in the
upper half of the first page, which is the most
important one.
And I'm not questioning what it is now; I'm
suggesting that it could be different in the future.
CHR. ONO: We'll take that into consideration,
but our Deputy Corporation Counsel has a comment.
MR. SADEGH: Thank you very much.
ISLAND COURT REPORTING & TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES
(808) 933-9800
