Page 37
earlier this month on how we proceed somehow has to be
built into this, our new, quote, rules. And I guess
that would have to be displayed in more detail in the
March/April timeline in some way because we can't get
to a decision until we've done a couple months' worth of
all the public requirements, both in the paper and at
the public meetings. So, with that being said, I like
the approach that you have put down. It's not far from
what I had written down previously anyhow.
We just need to particularly work with you,
Amy, to get the right words to put in how we need to
proceed, whether we make any decisions formally or not,
with the public requirements now of the new rules that
are in place at this point.
CHR. ONO: Would you like to defer on this,
then, as incoming chair, and hold it up for next
meeting?
MR. CAMPBELL: Well, I don't know that we'd
make the schedule if we do that.
CHR. ONO: Well, the schedule is just on paper
here and it can be changed. This Commission is really
not under any schedule. Of course, it would be
opportune to get something in so that it can appear in
the budget, but --
MR. CAMPBELL: Well, let me ask the question.
ISLAND COURT REPORTING & TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES
(808) 933-9800
