Hawai `i County Charter Commission -6 December 14, 2018 <br />MS. GALIMBA: Alright, so I move to table it until the next meeting on January <br />11 `l, <br />CHR. ADAMS: Mr. Henricks. <br />MR. HENRICKS: Just lay on the table is sufficient. <br />CHR. ADAMS: Okay. Is that something I do, does it matter? Is it a motion? <br />MR. HENRICKS: If you could just clarify for the record as Chair that the motion <br />is to lay the motion to approve CA -3 on the table. <br />CHR. ADAMS: The motion is to lay CA -3 on the table. <br />MR. HENRICKS: Thank you. <br />Vote on Motion Commissioner Galimba moved to lay Proposal No. CA -3 (Comm. No. 17) on <br />To Table CA -3 the table. Second by Commissioner Hopkins and carried by the <br />(Approved): following voice vote: <br />Ayes: Commissioners Bergin, Galimba, Hamano, Hopkins, <br />Roehrig, Saquing, Springer, Todd, and Chair Adams — 9 <br />Noes: None. <br />Absent: Commissioners Rice, and Zelko-Schlueter - 2 <br />Excused: None. <br />CHR. ADAMS: Without objection, I would like to move to Item No. 6, <br />Communication No. 21, which transmitted CA -7 from the, that is the, we do have <br />Communication No. 18, Item 3 that was moved as well. We do have a motion on <br />that as well. Alright, strike what I was saying. Item No. 3, Communication No. <br />18, transmitting Charter Amendment 4 for initial approval, we have a motion on <br />the floor made by Commissioner Galimba and seconded by Commissioner Zelko <br />to pass Charter Amendment 4 on initial approval and forward for first reading. <br />Commissioner Galimba. <br />MS. GALIMBA: Having seen the Communication from R&D in relation to this <br />proposal, I would like to amend it based on their recommendations so perhaps I <br />should do a similar thing and lay this on the table until the next meeting so that I <br />can work on the language and present it. <br />CHR.
