Absolutely. On <br />that day, I did, at that time. <br />Fuke: Mr. Mukai? <br />Mukai: In regards to the list, I noticed that the copy that we have provided to us was <br />dated February 14, 2018, and know that the violation was sometime thereafter? Was the <br />list that was posted prior to this one that we have photocopied, was the individual in <br />question on that previous list? <br />Takase: She was talking about Mr. Vine. <br />Twentyfive: Yes. <br />Takase: He was not listed as a manager. His card expired in February 2016. <br />Fuke: Any further questions? <br />Mukai: Actually, I have another question. In regards to Mr. Vine, did he express to you <br />prior that he had a valid card? <br />Twentyfive: That was always my understanding, yes. The entire management team has <br />recently taken over. The general manager, his assistant and myself, all within the last <br />year so it's been quite a learning curve for us all. It was pretty much sink or swim and this <br />just happened to get caught in the middle of that. Unfortunately, a very serious thing. <br />Mukai: I have another question. <br />Fuke: Sure. <br />Mukai: So going forward, is Island Naturals implementing some kind of procedure where <br />a new hire says I have a card; is there a procedure in place where you can actually verify <br />their statement? <br />Twentyfive: We're just going to have all opening cashiers and closing cashiers get a card <br />if they don't have one, no matter what.
