1. Application No. 18-07 (10:02 A.M.) <br />Rocco's Pizza Pub LLC, dba Rocco's Pizza Pub, submits Change of <br />Category to Category B2, and Change of Location to 84-4830 Hawaii <br />Belt Road, Captain Cook, Hawaii, TMK: 8-4-015:010, to its Dispenser <br />General liquor license, Category B1. <br />Yvonne Rocco, Manager, was present. <br />Taniguchi: Good morning. <br />Rocco: Good morning. <br />Taniguchi: Can you identify yourself and your relationship to the business please? <br />Rocco: Yes, my name is Yvonne Rocco and I'm Owner/Operator of Rocco's Pizza <br />Pub. <br />Taniguchi: Can you briefly describe your business? <br />Rocco: Yes. We're a family-owned pizzeria. We primarily do pizza and salads and a <br />little bit of pasta and fresh-baked bread. We've been operating almost three years here <br />on the Big Island. <br />Taniguchi: Are there any changes to your report? <br />Rocco: (nodded indicating there are no changes). <br />Taniguchi: Director, any protests? Well, we have one that we just received. <br />Takase: Mr. Chairman, the applicant submitted two out of two notices within 100 feet, <br />and 15 out of 22 within 500 feet. There were 17 properties entitled to protest, and we <br />did received one protest application. I believe copies were provided to the <br />Commissioners. <br />Taniguchi: Is there any public testimony regarding this application? <br />There was no public testimony. <br />Taniguchi: Since none, Commissioners, any questions? Mr. Greenwell? <br />Greenwell: Gerald, could you explain a bit about this procedure that they have or the <br />ownership of the property versus a lease? <br />Takase: Right now, the property is a leasehold property. However, she is in the <br />process of acquiring the leasehold as well.
