No. 44: Transmitting CA -27 for Initial Approval; Proposal to amend <br />Section 10-15, Public Access, Open Space and Natural Resources <br />Preservation Fund, to add language to place an emphasis on the acquisition of <br />easements and that the County may exercise eminent domain to acquire <br />properties and easements for the purposes of this fund; as submitted by <br />Commissioner Roehrig. <br />Amended to Draft 2 and passed Initial Approval: 7 ayes; 3 noes (Bergin, <br />Galimba, and Rice); 1 absent (Hopkins) <br />REPORTS <br />REFERRALS FOR EXECUTIVE SESSION <br />None <br />The Charter Commission anticipates convening an executive meeting regarding the above <br />matters, pursuant to Section 92-5(a)(4) of the Hawai`i Revised Statutes, for the purpose <br />of consulting with the Commission's attorney on questions and issues pertaining to the <br />Commission' s powers, duties, privileges, immunities, and liabilities. A two-thirds vote of <br />
