And the <br />state <br />system is in such <br />red ink <br />2 that you want to <br />blush <br />when you look at <br />it. <br />3 And I <br />looked <br />into it recently. <br />The <br />4 assumption for the state retirement system is they <br />5 crank in a 7 percent increase per year. Well, last <br />6 year the markets were down 6, 7 percent, so you don't <br />7 have to be too brilliant to figure out the contribution <br />8 <br />that has to go from this <br />County into <br />the state system <br />9 <br />of the retirement system <br />is going to <br />go up <br />10 <br />dramatically. So, we got <br />to kind of <br />know that kind of <br />11 <br />stuff. <br />Are the lines <br />going to <br />cross where <br />we're in a <br />12 <br />danger <br />zone compared <br />to other <br />counties and <br />other <br />13 <br />states? <br />That's, kind <br />of, what <br />I'd like to <br />know. <br />14 CHAIR: All right. <br />15 MR. First-line <br />18 supervisors remain a priority for law enforcement <br />19 during discussions with County officials -- additional <br />20 budget needs for the upcoming fiscal year.
