Page 9 <br />1 All right. If nothing else, we'll move on <br />2 from that to item 4, 5, 6. <br />3 Remember at the last meeting, we reviewed and <br />4 approved a plan for how we were going to move forward, <br />5 and I don't know if you wanted to talk any more about <br />6 that plan. At this point in time, if you remember what <br />7 the plan said, it was to -- you'll find it in your <br />8 packet under "Clean Plan," or the plan that counsel <br />9 looked at, was to set down a process that we would use <br />10 for evaluating what each commission and/or department <br />11 that we would appoint raises for -- for that position, <br />12 that we would look at them and see what process they <br />13 used to evaluate either the member that they oversaw or <br />14 any other evaluation process, so we had some feel for <br />15 what was being done to see that these people are <br />16 actually doing their job properly; and it also would <br />17 give us an idea of actually what the responsibilities <br />18 of each of those people are, what they do, how they do <br />19 it, so that we can have a better chance of then <br />20 considering are we as a commission going to approve <br />21 raises or not. There are a lot of other factors that <br />22 could be added to this, but this is what we approved <br />23 last time. <br />24 What we haven't done, yet, is set any <br />25 schedule -- and this is a future meeting -- where we <br />ISLAND COURT REPORTING & TRANSCRIPTION SERVICES <br />(808) 933-9800 <br />
