Hunt <br />Deputy Director <br />The Office of Housing and Community Development has been awarded federal funds from the <br />United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in conjunction with the <br />Community Development Block Grant Coronavirus grant program under the Coronavirus Aid, <br />Relief, and Economic Security Act (CARES Act). These funds are to be used to prevent, prepare <br />for, and respond to coronavirus (COVID-19). <br />Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement to accept these funds. Also enclosed is a bill <br />for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating a CDBG COVID-19 grant in <br />the amount of $978,184. <br />If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call Christine Nguyen of the Office of <br />Housing and Community Development at 961-8379. <br />Deanna S.
