Hunt <br />Deputy Director <br />The State of Hawaii, Department of Agriculture (HDOA) is providing $49,896 to the Department <br />of Research and Development for the North Kohala Coqui Frog Control project. This project is to <br />prevent the establishment of the coqui frog in the North Kohala district. <br />Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the HDOA for <br />these funds. Also enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by <br />appropriating this $49,896 to the Department of Research and Development's North Kohala Coqui <br />Frog Control project account. <br />If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call Debra Funai, of the Department of <br />Research and Development at 961-8584. <br />Deanna S.
