These funds will be used to implement the Hawaii Island Tourism Strategic Plan <br />(TSP), by developing a Destination Management Action Plan (DMAP). <br />Enclosed is a resolution to enter into an agreement to accept these funds. Also enclosed is a bill <br />for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating this $25,000 grant. <br />The Department of Research & Development requests that this resolution be waived from the <br />Finance Committee and be placed on the November 6, 2020 Council agenda, and to waive <br />Council's five-day hold -for -reconsideration in order to expedite this transaction.
