This appointment was effective at 12:00 noon on Monday, December 7, 2020. Mr. Uehara has served as an Information Systems Analyst for the Hawaii Police Department since 2012. Prior to his role within the County of Hawaii, he served in a myriad of Information Technology Specialist roles, including stints with the University of Hawaii, the Hawaii Volcanoes National Park, HFS Federal Credit Union, and the KIiauea Military Camp. Mr. Uehara will serve a term co -terminus with my tenure, which will end on December 2, 2024. Pursuant to Rule 5(6) (g) of the -Rules of Procedures and Organization of the Council of the County of Hawai'i, we respectfully request a waiver of nomination through committee so that it may be considered by the full County Council on December 23, 2020.
