She is now eligible to serve a full five-year term. <br /> Ms. Lui is a Kama'aina of Hawai'i Island and is a passionate advocate for melding development <br /> and the cultural connection. Through her work in various organizations, including Kaloko- <br /> Honokohau National Historic Park Advisory Commission, Office of Hawaiian Affairs, Queen <br /> Lili`uokalani Trust, State Historic Preservation Division, among others, Nicole brings a wealth <br /> of understanding and experience in ethno-historical, archaeological, geneological and land tenure <br /> research, geography, native flora and fauna, as well as native Hawaiian burial protocols.
