Roth, dated March 31, 2021, <br /> submitting for the Council's review and confirmation the appointment of Gerald T. Kosaki of <br /> Council District 3 to the Fire Commission. <br /> Executive Assistant Pomaika`i Bartolome was present at Council Chambers in Hilo and <br /> introduced the nominee who appeared via zoom. <br /> Several Council Members commented in favor of appointment, and Chair Inaba stated that <br /> confirmation before Council would take place in two weeks. <br /> Pursuant to Sections 7-4.5 and 13-4 of the Hawai`i County Charter, members of the Fire <br /> Commission shall be appointed by the Mayor and confirmed by Council. <br /> Your Committee on Parks and Recreation and Public Safety is in accord with the purpose and intent <br /> of Communication No. 194 and recommends confirmation of the appointment of Gerald T.
