OF to. <br />Y T <br />COUNTY011F HAWAF1 STATE OF HAWAM <br />RESOLUTION NO. 185 21 <br />JjFAXV A'JMEJ Al [,a 1k <br />eff <br />WHEREAS, Kona Aquatics, a nonprofit organization based in Kailua Kona is <br />donating labor and materials to the County of Hawaii Department of Parks and Recreation; <br />and <br />WHEREAS, this labor and materials, valued at approximately $10,000, is to install <br />new grates on the top of the bulkhead and for welding repairs at the Kona Community <br />Aquatic Center; and <br />WHEREAS, Article X111, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, provides that the <br />council, on behalf of the county, may accept gifts of donations of money, securities, or other <br />personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate; and <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation recommends the acceptance of this <br />donation; now, therefore, <br />accordance with Article X111, Section 13-12 of the Hawaii County Charter, the County of <br />Hawaii, accepts this donation. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a letter of appreciation and a copy of this <br />resolution be sent to Kona Aquatics, PO Box 2901, Kailua Kona, Hawaii 96745. <br />
