Additional federally-derived funds in the <br /> amount of$1,327,797 are being provided by the State Executive Office of Aging under <br /> the American Rescue Plan Act of 202 Ito carry out the services and supports outlines in <br /> the Older Americans Act of 1965 with a focus on alleviating the effects of the COVID-19 <br /> pandemic on seniors. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these <br /> additional funds into the Office of Aging's Area Plan on Aging account, bringing the <br /> total estimated federal revenue to $2,527,797.
