Sako via Communication No. 352, <br /> dated July 30, 2021, authorizes the acceptance of a donation of twelve air-gain antenna and cradle point <br /> units, and associated hardware to the Hawaii Police Department. <br /> The donation from SSFM International, valued at $34,068.56 would be mounted on the department's <br /> blue and white fleet vehicles to extend the range of cell phones and Mobile Data Terminals in areas of <br /> poor reception. <br /> Committee Chair Matt Kaneali`i-Kleinfelder provided comments thanking SSFM International for the <br /> donation. <br /> Pursuant to Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter, the Council may accept gifts of donations of <br /> money, securities or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate.
