JUDE'S EPISCOPAL CHURCH <br /> LOCATED AT 92-8606 PARADISE CIRCLE, HAWAIIAN OCEAN VIEW ESTATES, IN <br /> `IJ, HAWAII. <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or other <br /> obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or of more than one <br /> fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks and Recreation ("Parks") desires to enter into a License <br /> Agreement with the St Jude's Episcopal Church for the use of its premises located at 92-8606 Paradise <br /> Circle, Hawaiian Ocean View Estates, Ka`u, Hawaii, on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from <br /> 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., excluding legal holidays, for the purpose of the County of Hawaii Elderly <br /> Activities Program, Adult Nutrition Services; and <br /> WHEREAS, the License Agreement will commence on July 1, 2022 and will end on June 30, <br /> 2024 with a monthly fee of$475.00 plus general excise taxes; and <br /> WHEREAS, Parks is requesting authorization for the Mayor to enter into a multi-year License <br /> Agreement with the St. Jude's Episcopal Church as indicated above; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that the <br /> Honorable Mitchell Roth, Mayor of the County of Hawaii, is hereby authorized to enter into a multi- <br /> year License Agreement with the St Jude's Episcopal Church, commencing July 1, 2022, and ending <br /> June 30, 2024. <br />
