The 30 feet is <br /> not adequate to privide the minimum stopping sight distance as outlined in <br /> the Hawaii Statewide Uniform Design Manual for Streets and Highways, so a <br /> bill for an ordinance is required. <br /> To eliminate the need to draft a bill for these instances, we request that <br /> Section 24-190 (a)(1), (3) and (4) of the Hawaii County Traffic Code be <br /> amended as described in the attached draft for an ordinance. <br /> - , <br /> DONNA FA KIYOSAKI, APPROVED: <br /> Chief Engineer <br /> RHN/EU:mlm <br /> Attachment ST PHEN K.
