No. 915/Res.No. 491-22 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Kailua-Kona, Hawaii <br /> TIME: 2:00 p.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawaii County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawaii 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance,to which was referred Resolution No. 491-22,reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 491-22, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako, via Communication No. 915 <br /> dated July 29, 2022, authorizes the acceptance of a donation of up to eight buses from the City and <br /> County of Honolulu Department of Transportation Services. <br /> This resolution accepts up to eight 2000 and 2002 40-foot Gillig Phantom buses, with an approximate <br /> value of$1,000 each for the Mass Transit Agency's transportation fleet. <br /> Mass Transit Administrator John Andoh provided a brief background of the measure and recent <br /> Mass Transit updates. <br /> Pursuant to Section 13-12, Hawaii County Charter,the Council may accept gifts of donations of <br /> money, securities, or other personal property or of real estate or any interest in real estate.
