Additional <br /> state funds in the amount of$176,402 are being provided by the State of Hawaii <br /> Department of Land and Natural Resources to be used for costs associated with Kua Bay <br /> and Hapuna Beach ocean safety. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these <br /> additional funds into the Fire Department's Kua Bay - State Grant account,bringing the <br /> total appropriation to $580,000 and into the Hapuna Beach - State Grant account, <br /> bringing the total appropriation to $995,505. <br /> If there are any questions,please do not hesitate to call Nikol Lonokapu of the Hawaii <br /> County Fire Department at 932-2921. <br /> Deanna S.
