STATE OF HAWAPI <br /> el• ka M�*i,\ <br /> 'tTg 4F•N'� <br /> RIESOLUTION <br /> RESOLUTION TI ( ) TEMPORARY I <br /> R THE DEPARTMENT OF RESEARCH AND <br /> DEVELOPMENT <br /> WHEREAS, position 00-05145 (Economic Development Specialist <br /> III (TEMP) was created via resolution 159-21 on July 7, 2021, when the <br /> County of Hawaii was awarded federal funding from the Department of <br /> Health and Human Services (HHS) to implement the "Kuleana Health" <br /> program; and <br /> WHEREAS, the funding for this position was originally scheduled to <br /> end on June 30, 2023; and <br /> WHEREAS, on May 1, 2023, the County received a no-cost <br /> extension (NCE) to the HSS grant in order to extend funding for an <br /> additional three (3) months from July 1, 2023 through September 30, 2023 <br /> for the position indicated above; and <br /> WHEREAS, the funding for this position during this time will be <br /> through the NCE to the HSS grant (0.4 FTE), with the balance (0.6 FTE) <br /> coming from County funds; and <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF <br /> HAWAII that position 00-05145, in the Department of Research and <br /> Development be maintained for an additional three (3) months, from July 1, <br /> 2023 through September 30, 2023 with funding as indicated above; and <br />
