No. 415/Res. No. 234-23 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Resolution No. 234-23, reports as follows: <br />Resolution No. 234-23, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako, via Communication No. 415 <br />dated August 16, 2023, authorizes the payment of funds of a later fiscal year and of more than one <br />fiscal year for a multi-year agreement for an Enterprise Resource Planning system. <br />This resolution authorizes the Mayor to enter into a 10 -year agreement at an estimated annual cost <br />of $2,200,000, for a software system used to accounting, procurement, project management, risk <br />and compliance management, and supply chain operations. <br />Committee Member Ashley L. Kierkiewicz asked Controller Kay Oshiro to provide background <br />information. Ms. Oshiro stated that she is limited on what she can share, as Finance Director <br />Deanna Sako is currently in the procurement process, but could provide some information. <br />Committee Member Susan L. K. Lee Loy stated that she has difficulty approving multi-year lease <br />agreements but is absolutely on board with this agreement. Ms. Lee Loy noted that a previous system <br />needed much customization and asked Ms. Oshiro if there was a budget for that precisely, to which she <br />replied that she didn't think so. <br />Committee Member Michelle Galimba asked if this new system has a robust support system.
