Sako <br />Director <br />Diane Nakagawa <br />Deputy Director <br />u <br />>.1 <br />In the current Budget Ordinance 23-50, $155,000 is appropriated in the Traffic Safety <br />Training Project account. Additional funds in the amount of $11,479.88 are being <br />provided by the State of Hawaii Department Transportation to be used to support <br />specialized training for prosecutors, law enforcement officers, and other personnel aimed <br />at reducing the lethal effects of alcohol and drugged driving. <br />Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these <br />additional funds into the Office of the Prosecuting Attorney's Traffic Safety Training <br />Project account, bringing the total appropriation to $166,479.88. <br />If there are any questions, please do not hesitate to call Grant Nagata, of the Office of the <br />Prosecuting Attorney at 934-3310. <br />Deanna S.
