No. 525/Bill No. 91 <br />Your Committee on Finance, to which was referred Bill No. 91, reports as follows: <br />Bill No. 91, transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako via Communication No. 525 dated <br />September 29, 2023, amends Ordinance No. 23-50, as amended, the Operating Budget for the County <br />of Hawaii for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2024. <br />This bill increases revenues in the State Grants — Victim/Witness Assistance account ($344,199); and <br />appropriates the same to the Aid to Victims account, for a total appropriation of $443,371 to support <br />the Prosecuting Attorney Office's Victim -Witness Assistance Program. <br />Committee Member Cindy Evans asked Finance Director Deanna Sako if she could provide <br />specific details regarding this measure or if she should reach out to the Prosecuting Attorney's <br />office directly.
