COUNTY OF HAWAII STATE OF HAWAII <br />ryo <br />RESOLUTION NO. 341 23 <br />RESOLUTION CREATING ONE (1) NEW PERMIT SYSTEMS <br />COORDINATOR POSITION AND ONE (1) NEW FACILITIES <br />PROGRAM MANAGER POSITION FOR THE DEPARTMENT OF <br />PUBLIC WORKS <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Public Works is in need of a one (1) Permit <br />Systems Coordinator position and one (1) Facilities Program Manager position to <br />support their Building Division; and <br />WHEREAS, the Permit Systems Coordinator position is needed to maintain <br />and evolve the EPIC system, and <br />WHEREAS, the Facilities Program Manager position is necessary to <br />manage the Building Division's Design & Engineering, General Services, and <br />Repair and Maintenance Sections ; and <br />WHEREAS, the positions indicated above are one (1) Permit Systems <br />Coordinator, SR -18, position and one (1) Facilities Program Manager, SR -28, <br />position; and <br />WHEREAS, Article V, Section 5-1.3(c) of the Hawai'i County Charter states <br />that the Mayor has the power to "Create positions... for which appropriations have <br />been made by the council..."; now, therefore, <br />BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that <br />one(1) Permit Systems Coordinator, SR -18, position and one (1) Facilities Program <br />Manager, SR -28, position be created in the Department of Public Works. <br />
