gljr �pl./'. <br /> COUNTY OF HAWAI`I :�_ : = STATE OF HAWAI`I <br /> .44 <br /> 'ATE OF•NF,J; <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 345 23 <br /> (DRAFT 2) <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PAYMENT OF FUNDS OF A LATER <br /> FISCAL YEAR AND OF MORE THAN ONE FISCAL YEAR FOR A MULTI- <br /> YEAR LEASE FOR FOUR (4) 60" DECK ROTARY MOWERS FOR THE <br /> DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION <br /> WHEREAS, Section 10-11 of the County Charter requires that any contract, lease or <br /> other obligation requiring payment of funds from the appropriations of a later fiscal year or <br /> of more than one fiscal year be approved by resolution; and <br /> WHEREAS,the County of Hawai`i wishes to enter into a multi-year lease for five <br /> (5)years, for four(4) 60" deck rotary mowers; and <br /> WHEREAS, this equipment will be utilized by the Department of Parks and <br /> Recreation's Municipal Golf Course in Hilo; and <br /> WHEREAS,the department currently has two (2) 60" deck rotary mowers that are <br /> utilized seven days a week and require constant repairs at increasing costs; now therefore, <br /> BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI'I: <br /> 1. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to enter into a five (5) year lease for <br /> the equipment as indicated above, for the Department of Parks and <br /> Recreation. <br /> 2. That sufficient funds be budgeted in future fiscal years to cover the <br /> anticipated obligations of the County under the terms of the agreement. <br />
