Additional funds in the amount of$80,000 are being <br /> provided by the State of Hawai`i Department of Defense, Office of Homeland Security to <br /> be used by the Civil Defense Agency to enhance community preparedness and resilience, <br /> support law enforcement evidence storage and warehousing, and increase law <br /> enforcement personnel response and Civil Defense emergency response vehicles. <br /> Enclosed is a bill for an ordinance amending the Operating Budget by appropriating these <br /> additional funds into the Civil Defense Agency's State Homeland Security Program <br /> FY 23 account, bringing the total appropriation to $780,000. <br /> If there are any questions,please do not hesitate to call William Hanson, of the Civil <br /> Defense Agency at 935-0031. <br /> 0 Q r' <br /> Deanna S.
