COUNTY CODE 1983 (2016 EDITION),RELATING TO NO PARKING AT ANYTIME UPON CERTAIN STREETS OR PORTION OF STREETS AND PARKING PROHIBITED DURING CERTAIN HOURS ON CERTAIN STREETS. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAI`I: SECTION 1. The purpose of this ordinance is to: (1)prohibit parking alongside certain • sections of Ali`i Drive that front Kahalu`u Beach Park; and(2)to designate certain sections alongside Ali`i Drive as public parking areas, during the hours of 5:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. SECTION 2. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-280, schedule 28, entitled "No parking at anytime," subsection"(f) Kona," of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2016 edition), is amended by amending the following listings: • Ali`i Drive, east (mauka) side, from a point five hundred eighty-one feet south of Makole`a Street and extending [seventy five] sixty-eight feet north of Makole`a Street. • Ali`i Drive, east(mauka) side, from a point three hundred [seven] nine feet north of Makole`a Street and extending one thousand three hundred thirty-five feet north of Makole`a Street. • Ali`i Drive,west Lmakai).side, [for^ `l"'tance of] from a point one hundred feet[on either side of each driveway into Kahalu`u Beach Park.] south of Makole`a Street and extending six hundred twenty-two feet north of Makole`a Street. SECTION 3. Chapter 24, article 10, division 5, section 24-280, schedule 28, entitled "No parking at anytime," subsection"(f) Kona," of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2016 edition), is amended by adding new listings to be appropriately inserted and to read as follows: • Ali`i Drive,west(makai) side, from a point nine hundred thirty-six feet north of Makole`a Street and extending thirty-three feet in northerly direction. • Ali`i Drive, west (makai) side, from a point seven hundred eighty-one feet north of Makolea street and extending seventy-three feet in a northerly direction.
