REPORT OF THE <br /> COMMITTEE ON FINANCE <br /> DATE: January 9, 2024 Re: Comm.No. 659/Res.No. 400-24 <br /> PLACE: Council Chambers <br /> Hilo,Hawai`i <br /> TIME: 10:41 a.m. <br /> Council Chair and Members <br /> Hawai`i County Council <br /> Hilo, Hawai`i 96720 <br /> Your Committee on Finance,to which was referred Resolution No. 400-24,reports as follows: <br /> Resolution No. 400-24,transmitted by Finance Director Deanna S. Sako, via Communication No. 659 <br /> dated December 20, 2023, authorizes the Department of Parks and Recreation to award funds to Hawai`i <br /> HI-Diving Friends. <br /> This resolution provides $66,815 of grant funds for the Charles "Sparky"Kawamoto Swim Stadium <br /> Dive Tower New Staircase project. <br /> Parks and Recreation Director Maurice Messina provided a brief overview. D.J.
