Brown <br />Deputy Director <br />The Office of Management has been awarded $96,000 from the Federal Highway <br />Administration for their Trek the Trails project. This project will promote the use of <br />alternative modes of transportation, promote pedestrian and bicycle safety, and introduce <br />the community to the interconnectivity provided by the trail system in their vicinity. <br />Enclosed is a resolution authorizing the Mayor to enter into an agreement with the <br />Federal Highway Administration and the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation <br />to receive these funds.
