The purpose of this amendment is to add speed limits along Akoni Pule <br /> Highway. <br /> SECTION 2. Chapter 24,Article 10, Division 1, Section 24-255, Schedule 3, entitled <br /> "25 mile per hour limit", subsection(e) Kohala, of the Hawai`i County Code 1983 (2016 Edition, <br /> as amended), is amended by adding new listings to be appropriately inserted and to read as <br /> follows: <br /> • Akoni Pule Highway,mauka side, from the HWY 250 intersection and extending one <br /> thousand three hundred eight feet in the southeasterly direction. <br /> • Akoni Pule Highway,mauka side, from a point nine thousand seven hundred ninety-four <br /> feet southeast of HWY 250 and extending three thousand three hundred sixty feet in the <br /> southeasterly direction. <br /> • Akoni Pule Highway,makai side, from a point twenty-six thousand nine hundred ninety- <br /> seven feet northeast of Pololu Valley Lookout and extending three thousand seven <br /> hundred forty-five feet in the northwesterly direction. <br /> • Akoni Pule Highway,makai side, from a point thirty-nine thousand fifty feet northeast of <br /> Pololu Valley Lookout to the HWY 250 intersection. <br />
