Ms. Tanimoto <br />has recently retired from the hospitality industry and has work experience in government, non- <br />profit, and private sectors. <br />Active in our North Hawaii communities, Ms. Tanimoto is a former president and member of the <br />Kailapa Community Association in Kawaihae, the Association of Hawaiian Civic Clubs, and a <br />former South Kohala Community Development Plan Action Committee member. <br />If confirmed, Ms. Tanimoto will fill a vacant seat and serve a four-year term ending on January <br />31, 2029.
