Azevedo <br />Deputy Director <br />Transmitted herewith is the above -entitled measure for the Council's review and consideration'. <br />We request the Hawai'i County Code, Chapter 24, Article 10, Division 5 (Parking), Section 24- <br />280, Schedule 28 (No parking at anytime) under (f) Kona be amended by revising existing items <br />8 and 17 and deleting existing items 16 and 18. <br />The intent of these amendments is to restrict parking along the narrower shoulder sections of <br />Ali'i Dr fronting Kabalu'u Beach Park to improve safety for pedestrians and motorists in the <br />area.
