COUNTY O~ ~I~~WAI` STATE OF HAWAII <br /> RLSOLUTIOle11010. ~ <br /> ~~~®~u~ri®n~ ~u~~®~i~on~~ ~?cc~~°r~n~c~ ~ ®®ru~?~ton~ ~~i~r~ <br /> (30) ~I~NI~ TA~~S <br /> WHEREAS, the Kona Lions Club has donated thirty (30) picnic tables as one of their service projects; <br /> <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, these picnic tables, with a total estimated value of $2,400, will be distributed to various <br /> parks in the Kona area; and <br /> WHEREAS, Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter provides that the Council, on <br /> behalf of the County, may accept gifts or donations of personal property; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Department of Parks & Recreation recommends the acceptance of this donation. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED ~Y THE COUNCIL OF THE COUNTY OF HAWAII that in <br /> accordance with Article XIII, Section 13-12, of the Hawaii County Charter, the Council of the County of Hawaii <br /> <br /> accepts these picnic tables. <br /> ~E IT FURTHER RESOLVE® that a letter of appreciation be sent to George Rivera, Lions Civic <br /> Improvement Committee Chairman, Lions Club of Kona, P.O.
