This amendment adds a <br /> new item to that section which will allow the County of Hawaii to issue checks, or use <br /> other means to pay our creditors and employees, rather than issuing warrants. <br /> Currently, the County issues warrants which are presented to the bank for redemption. <br /> The fee for this service will tie increasing significantly on July 1, 2003.
