The County recently adopted ordinance <br /> number 98-97, clarifying the State law enabling the counties to impose and enforce traffic regulations on <br /> private streets. Based on this ordinance, the Department of Public Works, Traffic Division, submitted a <br /> bill for a traffic code amendment to establish separate schedules for public and private streets. <br /> We will contact and work with the Fern Acres representative to resubmit a new bill for their subdivision <br /> after the ordinance separating the schedules for public and private streets is adopted. <br /> You may contact Richard Nishimura at 961-8341 if you have any questions. <br /> JIRO .
